Fantastic Italian restaurant! The service was excellent and the food matched the service. We had 4 of us and we all really enjoyed our meals. So impressed by both food and service. Complimentary bruschetta was fresh bright well balanced and incredibly yummy. The Alfredo was solid traditional Italian with a beautiful unique undertone I couldn't identify but loved. Enjoyed the entire experience and will be back!
We had our rehearsal dinner here before our wedding, and everyone raved about the food. The atmosphere does leave something to be desired, but the friendly service and delicious meals more than make up for it. We'll definitely be back! Manicotti and tiramisu are standouts.

Quality is amazing, price is very low, I'd say, and atmosphere just like in old Italian cities. Used to live in Italy and I Love piece of it here.
I agree – the only disadvantage they have is a lack of parking spots and they are slow when it’s busy. But I used to do this job and I know it’s slow only because your food is being cooked from scratch. No frozen meats, fish, etc. Done for you right there and then when order comes in. If you are looking for 15 min express dinner or it’s free, then it's not your spot ( you should see how those kitchens look inside you’d never eat there again – the fridges/stoves so greasy, dirty, food that is used……..ok I’ll stop there….but it’s 15 min express). There is no express service in Leonardo Trattoria – just the best food made by amazing chef.

Have been to this restaurant a few times and have never been disappointed in the food. More of a traditional style Italian restaurant. The food was delicious and hot. Veggies cooked perfectly and service excellent.

the ambiance is good in this modestly priced restaurant. the service is good and not intrusive. the portions are more than adequate for a couple of seniors. the complementary bruschetta will not win any awards, but it is a nice geature and we alwys devou the lot. perhaps my only complaint would relate to the toilets. there is a long flight of stairs then the decor is not very good.
blast from the past, if you like old school, authentic trattoria service and simplicity, this is a great stop. Both wine and entrees were very inexpensive, and the service was attentive and prompt. Overall a great experience, will return again soon

Delicious. The most reliable Italian food in town and a huge neighbourhood favourite. Reasonably priced, very friendly staff and a cosy, pleasant atmosphere. If it isn't on the menu - just ask. If they have the ingredients, they'll make it for you. The best cappuccino ever ... piping hot and a full cup (not 1/3 of a cup buried under a head of froth). We are regulars and have probably had just about everything on the menu at one time or another. Leonardo's has never failed to satisfy and always provides great value and a pleasant experience.

We have been to Trattoria Leonardo many many times over the years and have never had a bad meal. Have tried almost the whole menu between friends and family, and everything is delicious. The service is excellent, atmosphere relaxed and very enjoyable. This is my favourite restaurant!
Disappointed. The calamari was tough and chewy, too overcooked. The cannelloni had no flavour and the veal stuffing was dry. Would not visit this restaurant again.

Never had a bad meal, been going there for many years, have introduced many people to the warm friendly atmosphere, and they go back often.
We have tasted so many dishes, and repeated so many, and they are all excellent, and good value.
The service is excellent, food is the' best bang for your buck' around Etobicoke.
My daughters still receive birthday greetings in the mail, year after year, amazing.
Exceptional food and service.
The menu is reasonably priced with entrees ranging between $10-$20, with an extensive selection to meet anyone's taste.
The meals are prepared fresh when ordered and I can honestly say I have never had a bad meal.
If you like spicy I recommend the Calabrese style mussels to start and be sure to get extra bread to soak up the sauce too.
If you enjoy a glass of wine with dinner the selection of wines are excellent from the house wine to the extensive selection of bottled wines on the menu.
Trattoria Leonardo, with its relaxed atmosphere, excellent service and attention to detail, is and excellent place to enjoy and evening of good food and wine with friends.
Marvellous neighbourhood style, casual Italian restaurant. Don't worry if the menu choice isn't quite what you want - if they have it in the kithcen, they'll make it for you. Nice comfy, friendly atmosphere and pleasant waiters - always on hand but who never crowd you. Good choice for small groups too. The veal Saltimboca and Veal Portafoglio are my favourites (made with prosciutto and portobello mushrooms ... one in a cream sauce, the other in a wine sauce). The house wines are well chosen and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended.
This has been a favourite restaurant for many years. The food is incredible....always cooked to perfection. Every dish on the menu is fabulous. Service is beautiful - no pressure to finish and get out!
